Unconventional Strength Class

What is "Unconventional Strength"?

Unconventional strength is being able to move, lift and/or carry heavy, awkwardly shaped objects from their starting point to their destination confidently and safely either alone or with other people.

Our strength is sometimes measured and evaluated in certain contexts and in certain terms. We may have strength in the gym or other training scenarios but we cannot transfer that strength to safely and successfully executing our Activities of Daily Living.

For example, we may be able to deadlift 300lbs but we might not be able to safely and successfully carry a 75lbs bag soil 15 feet from our vehicle to our garden.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT IN THIS CLASS?

  • YOU MAY GET DIRTY***
  • CARRYING, PUSHING, LIFTING AND MOVING HEAVY OBJECTS.

  • STEEL CLUBS
  • KETTLEBELLS
